= Become a ZOO Knowledge Partner =

Like many other Open Source solutions, ZOO-Project seeks to build strong links with the academic and research community and build a high-quality software solutions and develop a geoprocessing service repository based on algorithms developed and tested by experts. The ZOO Knowledge Partner program is aimed at nurturing young researchers and students to take improve, enhance and enrich the ZOO-Project.

Knowledge Partners represent Universities and Research Institutions that encourage research and innovation using the ZOO-Platform. Knowledge partners take active part in ZOO development by encouraging students and researchers to take up research using ZOO-Platform. They also seek independent funding to carry out such development work. Universities and R&D institutions can request to become Knowledge Partners.
